The Story Behind the Brand

Solar in India was broken.
We built a fix.

When Founder Name decided to go solar at home in year, the experience was frustrating. Multiple vendors gave conflicting quotes. Subsidy paperwork was a maze. And after installation, the company stopped answering calls.

That experience planted a simple question: why is something as clean and powerful as solar energy sold in such a confusing, unreliable way?

The answer was that most solar companies were either too large to care about individual homeowners, or too small to back up what they promised. Nobody had built a company specifically for the middle-class families of tier 2 and tier 3 Uttarakhand, people who needed honest guidance more than they needed a sales pitch.

Saurya Saathi was founded in Doiwala, Dehradun to be exactly that. A company that explains things clearly, does the paperwork, shows up after installation, and stays a saathi long after the panels are on the roof.
